چکیده

Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is an autoimmune metabolic disorder characterized by the destruction of pancreatic β‑cells due to reactions autoreactive T‑cells and autoantibodies. The present study aimed investigate association between levels connecting peptide (C‑peptide), several biochemical immunological markers in patients with T1DM treated insulin. For this purpose, a total 5 ml venous blood was collected from 44 28 healthy volunteers. Relevant clinical examinations were carried out. contents C‑peptide, IL‑4 IL‑5 determined using corresponding ELISA kits. normal ranges for liver renal function tests set both controls. results revealed that mean concentrations hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) higher compared However, difference not statistically significant. In addition, decreased individuals. No significant correlation observed C‑peptide cytokines exception volunteers, which positively correlated those C‑peptide. Overall, demonstrated low associated measured parameters. could still be at high risk developing pathological complications enhanced glucose H2O2, IL‑5.
